The Indian Premier League 2020 has already begun in full action, and it’s getting exciting day by day. The seventh match of the season is going to set action between three-time champions Chennai Super Kings and Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Capitals.

In their two outings so far, Chennai won their first match while saw the low side of the game in the second match against Rajasthan Royals. On the other side, Delhi Capitals flagged off their season with a thriller super over victory against Punjab.

There will be a young captain on one side while on the other side, the legendary captain will lead his team. Since Ambati Rayudu is suffering from a hamstring injury, the young Ruturaj Gaikwad is filling the place. Though the majority of the team is expected to remain the same, there might be few changes that can be expected in the lot of the Yellow Army. In the same light, let’s look at the probable playing XI of CSK for the next match.

Here is the Predicted Playing XI of Chenna Super Kings for CSK vs DC:

Shane Watson has always shown a decent form while sporting the yellow jersey. His stunning performance in IPL 2019 finale against Mumbai and that too with a bloodied knee will be a show to remember. In the last match against RR, he was just setting in to provide base to the team before he went away. He is most expected to be part of playing XI against DC.

Now, there is a young opener on the bench for two years with CSK and that is Tamil Nadu cricketer N Jagdeesan. Plying his role well in Ranji Trophy and domestic cricket, he might be a breath of fresh air for Chennai Super Kings. It is expected that he will open up and mark his debut for CSK against the Delhi side.

If there is one man who is constantly doing his best for Chennai, it has to be none other than Faf du Plessis. 58 in the first match and thunderous 72 in the second match against to push the team to its limit, the man is much expected to be in playing XI of CSK against Delhi Capitals in next match.

The young batsman marked his IPL debut in the last match against RR where he had to return after being knocked out on a duck. He might be given another chance for the team owing to some remarkable performance in First-class cricket. He might land up in the playing XI of CSK against DC.

The skipper MS Dhoni is definitely expected to lead his team once again from the front in the next match against DC. Though his hitting came a bit late while chasing the huge total by RR in the last match, he has enormous potential to make the best choices for his team.

Jadhav’s cameo of 22 runs in the last match was a like a drop of water in the ocean. It didn’t fetch the required help to the team when huge 216 was being chased but he can be expected to provide base to his team in the middle order. He is likely to form part of playing XI against DC.

Though Jadeja hasn’t been much successful with the bat in the last games, his performance with the ball has been decent. Being a part of the team for so long and showing amazing skills on field, he can be expected to form part of the playing XI squad against Capitals.

Young Sam Curran has been pitching up well so far with Chennai Super Kings. He played a small but thunderous knock in the season opener and scalped three wickets in the last match against Rajasthan. Having capacities with both bat and ball, he is most likely to be in Kings’ playing XI.

It is being expected that Caribbean star DJ Bravo is set to form part of playing XI against DC in the next match. He was down with an injury in the last two matches but is back to the form now. Having a hand for both, some explosive hitting and bowling, he can provide a decent contribution to his team.

Chahar has been faring well with the ball so far and is considered Dhoni’s go-to man with the new ball. Having scalped one wicket in the last match and two wickets in the first match while maintaining a decent economy, he is most probably to form part of playing XI of Chennai Super Kings.

Leading the spin attack for his team, Piyush Chawla is also expected to form part of the playing XI against Delhi Capitals. After a poor display in his previous game against RR, Chawla will hope to retaliate.
