Matchday 27, RCB vs KXIP – IPL Fantasy League Tips

Chris Gayle is set to play his first match of the IPL 2020 for the Kings XI Punjab.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab will face off in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sharjah Stadium. Kings XI opened their account by defeating RCB in the opening week of the tournament but have not won anything else. RCB are are currently at No.3 with five wins across seven matches. On Thursday, Chris Gayle is set to play his first match of the IPL 2020 for the Kings XI Punjab.

Schedule logistics around RCB vs KXIP

Kings XI Punjab’s next match is on Sunday and hence wasting more than one transfer for their players won’t be ideal. RCB, on the other hand, will play again on Saturday it self which is why at least three players from their line-up will be needed in the fantasy team.

Time for Chris Gayle in IPL 2020

Chris Gayle is set to make his entry in IPL 2020 as he faces his old friends in RCB on Thursday. The match will be held in Sharjah where the Universe Boss is on a 4-match streak of scoring 50s. However, the RCB team has got the likes of Chris Morris and Isuru Udana who have troubled Gayle in the past. If Gayle bats in the middle overs against the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, he could offer KXIP a few quick 20-30 runs.

Safe team

We expect the Sharjah track to better than what it played during the match between RCB and KKR. Hence, we have only picked Chris Gayle for the RCB vs KXIP by leaving out Jofra Archer and brought in Rahul Chahar for Friday’s game in place of Prithvi Shaw.

Risky team

We have brought in KL Rahul in place of David Warner as SRH doesn’t have any matches until Sunday. Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are the only players from KXIP we have picked in this fantasy team.
