Dhoni was also seen talking to Rahul and Agarwal after the match.
The Indian Premier League (IPL), over the years, has provided some of the best players across the world to rub shoulders with and against each other. Not many would’ve really imagined the fact that Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting would play for same team or Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers end up playing together for almost 7-8 years for RCB.
IPL has made it all possible and with it, the relationship and camaraderie between the players has also improved. Even during the bilateral series, there is so much friendliness and rather the cricketers are delighted to meet each other after a long time. Something of that sorts was visible when MS Dhoni met Chris Gayle after the match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Sunday.
CSK skipper was rather happy to meet the Universe Boss and was hilariously seen walking in the latter’s style. Gayle was also delighted to meet Dhoni and both of them greeted each other. The video of the same has gone viral and the fans are having a ball over it.
Chris Gayle is yet to play a game this season and was benched against CSK as well. With things being desperate for KXIP, having lost four out of five matches, the Caribbean star might finally take the field in their next encounter.

MS Dhoni also spotted chatting with Rahul and Mayank
After the same match, MS Dhoni was seen having a friendly chat with his counterpart KL Rahul. The duo played together in the World Cup last year for India and it seemed as if the KXIP skipper was picking the brains of the best Indian captain ever. Even Mayank Agarwal had a chat with the former India skipper as Dhoni was seen giving tips to him.
Meanwhile, the CSK skipper finally had a smile on his face as his team had won by 10 wickets arresting their three-match losing streak. CSK are currently at the sixth position with four points to their name after playing five matches and will be now looking to continue their winning run.
