The 18th match of the Indian T20 League 2020 will be played between Punjab and Chennai at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
This game is scheduled to start at 07:30 PM IST (06:00 PM local time) (02:00 PM UTC). The game will be telecasted on the Star Sports Network (Available in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Bengali). Also, live streaming will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.
Punjab and Chennai are set to lock horns for the first time in this season. Both the teams are coming off a losing streak and both of them will be hoping to end it and get back to winning ways on Sunday. Punjab has failed to get their team combinations right and their bowling has been very inconsistent. There is some heavy reliance on KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal at the top and the middle-order hasn’t hit the ground running, so far. As far as Punjab is concerned, there will be some changes made.
Chennai, on the other hand, aren’t looking like the champion team they always were. The body language of the players seem a bit off and we are seeing dropped catches, no-balls, and mis-fields from the Chennai side; something that we do not usually associate with MS Dhoni and his men. Their batting has looked scratchy and in the game against Hyderabad, they once again left a bit too much for the end. Chennai, with the experience that is there in the squad, are making schoolboy errors on a consistent basis and they will look to get back to winning ways on Sunday.
PNJ vs CHE Match 18 Weather Report
This is an evening game so there will be a bit of respite from the heat. The temperatures, however, will reach as high 32°C during the course of the match and as usual, there will be humidity on offer.
We saw in the last game at this venue that the track has slowed down a lot. The spinners and the slower bowlers have been finding ample assistance from the pitch. Batting is not easy on this track and chasing has been difficult.
Average first innings score: 184 (Based on the last 5 games)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 0, Lost – 4, Tied – 1 (Bangalore won the eliminator against Mumbai)

PNJ vs CHE Steal Picks for Today’s 11Wickets Match:
Deepak Chahar (8.5 credits) – Deepak Chahar bowled three overs in the powerplay against Hyderabad and was bowling beautifully with the new ball. He has started to grasp the concept for death bowling as well and is a steal pick. He has picked up 5 wickets from 4 games this season.
Ambati Rayudu (8.5 credits) – The right-handed batsman is in some solid form and he showed us in the first match of the season. Though he failed against Hyderabad, Rayudu is a steal for just 8.5 credits and has the potential to have a massive impact on the game. He has got 79 runs from 2 games at a strike rate of 139.
Nicholas Pooran (8.5 credits) – The West Indian has got a lot of potential with the bat and in the field, he has one of the safest pair of hands in world cricket. He is a steal for just 8.5 credits. He has 86 runs to his credit from 4 games and will look to add to it.
